It was on the 27th of April, 2021, when I came up with the idea of creating a COVID-19 resource website for India so that people can directly get all COVID essential resources from one place.
The concept of this website was inspired by https://covid19-twitter.in/.
Without delay, I started working on the idea, I researched a bit about Twitter search queries since the website which I was about to design will be completely dependent on the Twitter search mechanism, I read several articles on the Internet and started crafting queries both state-wise & city-wise for COVID essentials like Beds, ICUs, Ventilators, Plasma, Remdevisir & other resources.
After crafting the queries, I fired Sublime Text editor on my laptop & started to code in HTML, the entire website is a static HTML website because there wasn't any need to implement any backend as it processes & redirects to required information from Twitter to Twitter itself.
I tested the website, and it was functioning properly, so now it was ready to be hosted. I used Netlify to host the website for free directly from the GitHub repository.
You can visit the website at- https://covid19inres.netlify.app/
The GitHub repository of the COVID-19 Resource website I created is public and it's an open-source site so that if anyone wants to improve the website or add more functions to it, they can simply submit a pull request.
