Instagram Cross-App Messenger Update: What's New?

Instagram recently rolled out a new Cross-App Messenger update, which allows user to text their Facebook friends directly from the Instagram App.

Here are the new features you get to see in the new Instagram Cross-App Messenger update, you can-

• Change your chat theme

• React with any emoji

• Swipe to reply to messages

• Create Selfie Stickers

• Chat with friends who use Facebook

• No Facebook messenger app download needed.

However, you can control/choose who can message you by going to Message Controls in your Instagram App settings. Cross-app messaging doesn't change who can see your Instagram posts & stories, to reply to cross-platform messages, you'll need to update messaging, which also gives you access to new chat features.
